The address
Assistants reach the Workforce Scan through one address:

Add it to Claude
- Open Customize, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the address above, leave sign-in off, and choose Add.
- In a chat, open +, then Connectors, and turn on the Workforce Scan.
Works on every Claude plan (the Free plan allows one custom ). On Team and Enterprise plans an Owner adds it for the organization first.
Add it to ChatGPT
- Open Settings, then Apps, and turn on Developer mode under Advanced settings.
- Choose Create, name it Workforce Scan, paste the address above, and pick no authentication.
- In a chat, pick the Workforce Scan from the tools menu.
Developer mode is on paid ChatGPT plans. Menu names change from time to time; the address stays the same.
What to ask

The four tools
All four only read the Workforce Scan's data. None of them changes anything or reaches another service.
- Search occupations
search_jobs - Finds the occupations that match a job title, with each one's share of working time within reach now and at the end of 2028.
- Job: AI reach by task
job_exposure - One occupation in full: the share within reach now and at the end of each year to 2030 on three paces, the mix of desk, people and body work, pay and employment, and its tasks with their lengths and when each comes within reach.
- Scan a list of roles
scan_roles - Titles and headcounts in (pay if you have it), totals out: paid hours, cost, and the hours and value within reach now and at a chosen date, with the three roles and three tasks that carry the most. Up to 200 roles.
- AI task-length frontier
ai_task_horizon - How long a task the best AI models can finish: METR's latest measurement, today's estimate and projections to 2030.
The numbers are estimates
The answers use the same data and arithmetic as this site, checked September 29, 2026. Within reach means a model could finish work that long at the chosen reliability. It is not a forecast of jobs lost or of savings. How it works explains the method, the sources and the ranges.
What we keep
The assistant sends only what a tool needs: a job title, or for a list of roles the titles, headcounts and pay. We use it to answer and do not store it. We count each call by tool and by the kind of assistant, nothing more. Your conversation itself stays with ChatGPT or Claude under their policies. Details are in the privacy note.
The full company report
The assistant gives the totals and the top three roles. Every role, the tasks behind the hours, and the Excel and slide downloads are in the full company report, run on this site with your roster kept in your browser.
